BIOGRAPHY:

An accomplished strategic growth leader, Ted combines extensive global experience with a strong business and technical background to help companies drive profitable growth. As Vice President of Schlumberger, he led some of the energy giant’s most successful business units, including the global hydraulic fracturing business. As Chief Technology Officer of NexTier he oversaw all the technical elements of the business including the field engineering, real-time support center, technology development program, and a very successful digital transformation.

As Senior Consultant for Fieldstone, he draws on nearly 30 years developing and implementing programs to grow new business, accelerate revenue, leverage technology, and enhance profitability. He holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M and will complete his executive MBA in 2022.

Ted got his start as a roughneck, working Jack-up drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico summers between college. With Schlumberger, he rose quickly following global stints in Trinidad, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Nigeria to lead the company’s fracturing and acidizing services. As VP, he oversaw all production services businesses in China, driving revenue >25% in one year. As Chief Technologist, he led the global technology strategy for the company’s production management business. In 2018, he joined NexTier Oilfield Solutions as Chief Technology Officer. A skilled negotiator and mediator, Ted holds two granted U.S. patents, with 10 patents pending.
