Tom Murray, Senior Partner
Tom Murray recently joined Fieldstone Partners as a Senior Partner after over 25 years of experience in the commercial finance sector. Over the past five years in senior executive positions at CIT and GE Capital, Tom and his teams have originated in excess of $6.9 billion in loan and structured lease volume and over $70 million in fee income/revenue. Tom has a broad base of experience in multiple financing areas, including asset based lending, cash flow financing, structured leasing products, and equity and junior capital markets.
Tom most recently held the position of Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance at CIT in New York City. Prior to that, he held senior positions within GE Capital’s Commercial Finance group. In addition to leading a successful team that developed extensive relationships with hedge funds, private equity firms, investment banks and commercial banks, he was promoted to Managing Director, National Sales Manager, a position responsible for overseeing a volume budget of $3.5 billion and annual revenues of $85 million. Earlier in his career, Tom held positions at Citicorp and Mitsubishi Merchant Bank, which led to a series of successive promotions within each organization.
