Gary Grant, Senior Partner
Gary Grant joined Fieldstone Partners as a Senior Partner in 2008 after a distinguished 30 year career establishing, growing and managing diverse businesses. A successful entrepreneur, private company business owner and public company senior executive, Gary co-founded ViaNet, Inc. in 1977, a Houston-based company which grew over the next 17 years to over $30 million in revenues, becoming the largest same day delivery and logistics business in the southwest United States.
In 1994, ViaNet joined with five other companies to form U.S. Delivery Systems, the first publicly traded same-day logistics company with a national service footprint. Gary became President and COO of the publicly traded company, which was listed on the NYSE, and led its growth from approximately $100 million in revenues to over $800 million in revenues, including a successful merger into Corporate Express. This included the operational integration of over 100 companies that were acquired by U.S. Delivery during those years.
Gary has subsequently launched AXion Logistics, a specialty logistics firm serving the refinery and petrochemical markets, including Dow Chemical, ExxonMobil and other major customers.
