Bill O’Donnell, Senior Partner
Bill has more than 20 years of principal investment experience in distressed and special situation investments representing over $1.0 billion in securities of companies in financial distress, investor distress, Chapter 11 situations, debt for equity exchanges, recapitalizations and change of control transactions in the U.S. and Europe, in addition to extensive co-investment relationships.
Prior to joining Fieldstone, Bill was a Senior Credit Officer at Camulos Capital LLC, a $1.5 billion credit fund targeting stressed and distressed debt investments in the U.S. and Europe. He previously served as a Managing Director/Portfolio Manager, Global Credit Fund at Black River Asset Management LLC, where he launched a distressed/special situation portfolio in the U.S. and Europe.
Bill also has experience creating European joint ventures, including a joint venture with Lazard Freres advising the Czech Republic on restructuring a portfolio of state-controlled companies.
